ISee is an augmented landscape App for Maiden Castle in Dorset
The Interactive Social Experience Engine (ISee) for History and Heritage - A Dorset Prehistoric Feasibility Study project began on 1st March 2014, a collaboration between the Dorset County Museum and Brunel University London. The App should be started when at Maiden Castle in Dorset. Note, it may be better to use only GPS for your location sensing.
“Our vision is of an augmented landscape where visitors to Dorset effectively engage with the archaeological history and related artefacts housed within the Dorset County Museum (DCM). Visitors will be able to view, in the landscape, a heterogeneous mix of media elements (images, video, sound and games) through mobile devices to direct visitors on a more emotional journey that is personalised to their interests, profile, time and place,” said David Bell.
