Pollen Forecast and Calendar with Push Notifications (Source: DWD)
Pollen-Vorhersage -The app for quick and easy access to the pollen flight Danger index Prediction of the German Weather Service for Germany with push notifications for the pollen air pollution (daily) and the pollen flight calendar (regular) as well as historical data.
With this app you can access the 27 regional pollen flight predictive data from the DWD for Germany including the predictive cards. The DWD offers a 2 -day prediction (on Fridays 3 days) for 8 different types of pollen - hazel, alder, birch, grass, rye, mugwort, ambrosia and ash. In the settings, you can define the types displayed according to your allergies. So you are well prepared for the hay fever season. Daily 11 a.m., current prediction information is available for you to automatically access the app. In addition, you can activate a memory of the pollen forecast in the settings from a time you have defined.
You can also define your locations as favorites. You will see the predictive data for your selected locations immediately after the app starts.
You can determine the location from a proposed list, by card or a search function. You can use any place that is within Germany. As with a search on Google Maps - Roads and Postcodes, you are possible. You can also use your current location.
The push notifications inform you every day about the current situation of flying pollen. You can adapt the notifications for any location and for any polle separately. The notifications of the pollen flight calendar will inform you when new flowering times of the pollen have started.
So that you always have a look at the pollen pollution for your location, two different widgets are available for the start screen. Use either the well -known location overview or the new pollen load indicator (for the current and subsequent day) for the short look.
The Germany maps of the DWD and interactive predictive cards are available for the quick overview of the Germany -wide pollen flight forecast.
With the interactive pollen flight calendar you can see at a glance when the pollen flight of the respective plant can be expected. The current day is highlighted for the quick look. In the detailed view, you can zoom in with a pinch-to-zoom gesture and move the pollen flight calendar.
You have an overview of the pollen air pollution of the past few days with the historical data.
An adapted layout is available for tablet users.
