Talker app for people with speech handicap
How does it work?
Just type your message, press a button and your message is read aloud.
You can prepare messages for later use. Each message is given a title and one or more tags. With the tag your message is easily retrieved.
An alternative: show your message full-screen, so you can communicate in loud environments.
All this comes with no cost and no ads. I developped it for my own needs, and liked the idea to share it with you.
The app is based on the Android text-to-speech (TTS) function. There are no costs if you use the pre-installed voices. Or you can get other voices on Play Store from companies like Cereproc, Ivona or SVOX.
The spoken message can be enhanced with controls for pitch, speed and volume. Even the language maý be changed during speech.
Message catalogs can be stored on your device to be used later on. You can have multiple message catalogs for work, leisure time etc.
