With the map you can track storm lightning over Europe
Do you want to find out where the storm is now?
Thanks to the storm map, you can track on an ongoing basis where atmospheric discharges are currently over Poland and all of Europe. In addition, you have the opportunity to check the current weather anywhere in the world.
The program allows observation in which direction the storm moves thanks to the different colors of points symbolizing the places of the lightning strike. The importance of colors is described in legend.
The application presents where there is currently a storm on two types of maps:
- interactive map of Poland and Europe
- static storm maps from Blitzortung, Blids and Storms.dzis.net services
On interactive maps, the place where you are currently marked with a man.
In the case of a free internet connection, it may happen that the map will not fully display or show outdated data, then move it a little with your finger or press the "Refresh" button.
The data comes from Blitzortung.org, Blids.de, Burzy.dzis.net, Google Weather and Open Street Map.
