Players throw a marking at a time in a gap that is empty.
The goal is to get 3 circles or three xis in horizontal, vertical or diagonal line, and at the same time, when possible, prevent the opponent from winning in the next move.
When a player achieves the goal, the three symbols are usually scratched.
