Spades is a popular trick-taking card game typically played by four players in fixed partnerships. It is known for its strategic depth and requires both skill and teamwork.
The Spade suit is always trumps, hence the name.
The primary objective of Spades is to accurately predict the number of tricks (rounds of cards) your team will win in each hand and to try to achieve that number.
Spades is played with a standard 52-card deck.
The four players are divided into two partnerships, with partners sitting across from each other.
Players are assigned seats and take turns clockwise in dealing and playing.
Spades is similar to other cards games like Bridge, Callbreak, Hearts and Euchre.
