Create Words (FR) from 2 to 6 letters from the block of Letters on the Board
The purpose of the Glid game is to obtain as many points as possible by creating and validating words from 2 to 5 letters from those appearing on the playground.
16 letters appear at the start of the game in a block of 4 x 4 letters. No horizontal or vertical word still exists in this initial block. It's up to you to create. To do this, you need to move the horizontal or vertical lines by clicking on the arrow keys appearing at each end. The whole line moves from box to box, including spaces later left empty. When you want to validate one or more words created, you need to click on the OK button on the game. Glid then scores all the horizontal and vertical lines of the playground and makes all the words that its dictionary recognizes, adding to the score the points acquired during this maneuver.
For the counting of points, and for each validated word, we add the value of each letter (1 to 10) by the number of letters of the word; Then we multiply the total of these points by the number of words found and eliminated after validation. It is therefore advisable to move the lines and letters in a strategic way, in order to train several words with each sufficient points. Better to create and validate together the words Ex and Xe than the only word luxuries, however longer; 88 points for the first case, 70 for the second.
You have 3 "G" tokens at the start of the game. You lose a token with each lost handle, and you win one after a successful round, up to a maximum of 3 tokens. When a round is won, the points of it are doubled. The game is definitely lost when you no longer have tokens to continue.
Winning a round consists in eliminating all the letters from the game from the set, by the successive creation of words. Glid scans the game after each validation of words, and immediately stop the round if no authorized word is possible with the remaining letters of the tray or if it is only one left. However, the party can continue if you have enough tokens left.
It is possible to save a part in progress associated with the existing pseudo. To do this, you have to click on the "Save" button and leave the game. At the next opening of the game, and if the pseudo entered is the same as during the saved part, Glid will offer you to restore it. Be careful, when you save a game and if you continue to play (validation of words) after clicking on "Save", Glid obviously erases the backup.
You can play others on the same smartphone or tablet and parade different parts. Glid associates the existing and/or saved parts with the various pseudos seized.
The Highscore of the Glid game is saved on the internet each time a score exceeds the best. It is loaded at the start of any part. Your goal: to become the master of the game of Glid !
Glid uses a French dictionary. A variation in other languages is being developed.
